LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- All lanes of the Gene Snyder Freeway between National Turnpike and Interstate 65 have reopened after a rollover accident.

According to MetroSafe dispatchers, it happened around 11 a.m. and involved one vehicle. We're told crews had to rescue one person who was trapped in the vehicle. That person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Officials were unable to tell us what type of vehicle was involved, but a witness tells WDRB it was an SUV that came to rest on its roof.

The road reopened about 12:45 p.m.
