Louisville man accused of October shooting in Louisville's California neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested over a month after police say he shot a man in Louisville's California neighborhood.

According to an arrest report, the shooting took place on Oct. 15, just after 9:30 p.m., near the corner of S. 17th Street and W. Kentucky Street.

Police say 19-year-old Delwan Booker, Jr. shot the man at that location.

At the time of the shooting, Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said the victim had been shot multiple times and was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

According to the arrest report, the victim's injuries will require, "extensive medical treatment."

Booker was arraigned Friday morning, when a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
