TEXARKANA, Ark. (WDRB) -- Emergency crews in Arkansas are calling it a miracle.

An 8-month-old is found unharmed after being thrown from a car in a horrific crash.

Investigators say a semi-truck clipped a car while changing lanes, Friday night along Interstate 30 when the car flipped and the baby inside was thrown outside.

At first, the little girl couldn't be found.

She was later discovered 35-feet from the crash scene inside of a drainage grate.

Amazingly, the girl simply had a scratch on her forehead.

"There's so many times we go out and things aren't okay. And just during the holidays here to have a positive just feels good," said Arkansas Fire Department Capt. Charlie Smith.

The four other people in the car are also expected to be okay.
