LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The NFL is allowing players to wear custom cleats this weekend in support of a charity of their choosing. It's called "My Cause, My Cleats".

If players do wear custom cleats, they must auction them after the came and donate the money to the charity.

Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliot will wear cleats featuring his dog Ace. Elliott is campaigning against animal cruelty. The shoes will also have the words "Adopt, Volunteer, Prevent Cruelty".

Saints quarterback Drew Brees is going to wear these golden cleats to support his foundation in New Orleans.

Kirk Cousins will wear cleats to support anti-human trafficking causes.

The "My Cause, My Cleats" games begin Thursday night when the Dallas Cowboys play the Minnesota Vikings.
