LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a brand new website called LiveInLou.com. The site contains resources for people considering moving to Louisville.

The website highlights reasons for young professionals to move to town -- food, parks, bourbon, and of course job openings.

"We need people to be champions for our region," Deana Epperly Karem, VP for Regional Economic Growth, told a crowd of 150 in attendance at the Muhammad Ali Center. "You are the drivers of getting people to see the opportunities and the lifestyle amenities Greater Louisville offers."

“We have a real need for more skilled people to relocate to our region to fill the jobs that are open,” GLI President & CEO Kent Oyler said. “Now that all the resources are in one place, it is our job to truly sell living in Greater Louisville. That’s what is going to take our region to the next level.”

The LiveInLou website contains neighborhood information, restaurant and amenity information, a cost of living calculator, job openings, relocation resources, demographics, climate information and more.

It is targeted to 24- to 54-year-olds.
