FOUND: Kentucky State Police say missing mother and child recovered unharmed

UPDATE (12/01/16 1:02 PM): Kentucky State Police say Cheryl Louise Canafax and her child have both been found unharmed. No further updates will be provided on this story.


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help to find a mother and her child who are both missing.

According to a news release, 33-year-old Cheryl Louise Canafax of Cincinnati, Ohio, was last seen in Pendleton County, Kentucky, on Monday, Nov. 28. Police say she has a 3-month-old daughter with her.

She was last seen driving a red 2004 Honda Civic with a temporary Ohio registration. She has the following tattoos: a lily on her right calf, a Mr. Potato Head on her left shoulder, a rose on her right shoulder and a frog on her back.

Anyone with information about Canafax or her daughter is asked to call Kentucky State Police at (859) 428-1212, or your local police agency.
