LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Nestle says it knows how to make chocolate healthier, but still taste the same.
The company says by hollowing out sugar particles, it can reduce chocolate's sugar content up to 40 percent. Nestle is currently applying for a patent and plans to start putting out products with the new sugar in 2018.
The chocolate maker hasn't yet said if the new sugar would also mean less calories.
