Mike Pence's new neighbors in Washington, D.C. welcome him with rainbow flags

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mike Pence's new neighbors used rainbow flags to send a message to the vice president-elect.

People in a Washington, D.C. neighborhood put up the flags after he moved in.

Neighbors say it's all in support of the LGBTQ community, which has criticized Pence's policies regarding gay rights.

"A respectful message showing, in my case, my disagreement with some of his thinking," said Ilse Heintzen, a neighbor in the area.

The neighbors say they still welcome Pence despite disagreeing with him.
