RICHMOND, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Eastern Kentucky University basketball player is suspended from the team after being accused of rape.

Richmond police arrested 24-year-old Jaylen Babb-Harrison Sunday morning.

According to the arrest report, police were called to a local ER to investigate a sexual assault.

Officers say the victim said she'd been at Babb-Harrison's house and he had sex with her against her will.

Investigators say Babb-Harrison admitted he crossed a line and should have stopped.

EKU says he's been suspended from the basketball team pending further investigation. They have released the following statement following the arrest:

Eastern Kentucky University and the Department of Athletics are cooperating fully with the Richmond Police Department investigation. Jaylen Babb-Harrison is currently suspended from the EKU Men’s Basketball team pending further investigation.
