LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Office of Attorney General has arrested a man authorities say made plans to meet a child for sex.

He didn't realize he was really talking to an undercover investigator, according to an arrest report.

Authorities say 39-year-old Timothy Tucker got into a online conversation with the undercover investigator -- thinking the investigator was a child -- and asked the investigator to meet him for sex.

According to the arrest report, authorities stopped Tucker after they saw him travel to the designated meeting location.

There was a loaded handgun hidden inside Tucker's vehicle, authorities say.

Tucker was arrested and charged with the prohibited use of an electronics communications system to procure a minor or peace officer for sexual offenses, as well as carrying a concealed deadly weapon without a proper permit.

He is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
