Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- RiverLink officials are scheduled to announce the expected start date for tolling on Ohio River bridges Tuesday morning.

The announcement will take place at 11 a.m., outside the RiverLink Customer Service Center at 103 Quartermaster Court in Jeffersonville, according to a news release.

Officials will also provide an update on the number of RiverLink accounts opened to date.

"Residents and businesses are encouraged to open their RiverLink accounts, and get transponders," the news release states. "Drivers with transponders will pay the lowest rates."

Drivers must set up a RiverLink account to get a transponder.

The new Abraham Lincoln Bridge, the improved Kennedy Bridge and the new East End bridge will all be tolled. The Sherman Minton Bridge and the Clark Memorial Bridge will not be tolled in connection with the project.
