Santa visits Cochran Elementary students at University Club

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Santa Claus is taking a break from crunch time at the North Pole to visit kids at U of L.

Dozens of Cochran Elementary students were happy to see him.  Claus took part in a pancake breakfast at the University Club.

Gifts and caroling added to the mood.

"It is something they look forward to all year," said Sue Wagner, Youth Center Service Coordinator for Cochran Elementary School. "They know Santa's going to be here. They know they have to be on their best behavior. A lot of them will write letters to Santa. It has been awesome."

This is the twelfth year for the event.
