LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police went to the scene of a shooting at South 38th Street and Broadway, according to a MetroSafe dispatcher.

A call was received Monday at 8:43 p.m.

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell says officers with the 2nd Division arrived and found a male victim who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to University Hospital to be treated for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries, according to Mitchell.

The investigation is being handled by the LMPD Major Crimes Unit.
