LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's a huge honor for duPont Manual High School. It was named Kentucky's best public high school for 2017.

That's according to Niche.

The site uses statistics from the U.S. Department of Education to create the rankings, including academics, culture and diversity and teachers.

It also uses millions of reviews from students and parents.

Manual came in first for the entire state of Kentucky.

Louisville Male came in 5th place, followed by the Brown School in 6th place.

Atherton was ranked 10th; Ballard came in at number 14.
