Celebrities to perform during 3-hour telethon to benefit victims of Tennessee wildfires

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Country music legends are taking the stage to help victims of the Tennessee wildfires, where officials estimate there's more than $500 million in damages.

Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers and several others will Tuesday night in a three-hour telethon.

"Smoky Mountains Rise: A Benefit for the My People Fund," airs at 8 p.m. on GAC. 

Fourteen people were killed, and more than 2,400 buildings and homes were destroyed or damaged from the fires.
