LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some special holiday helpers came to the WDRB studios on Tuesday night.

The Girl Scout troop from Lincoln Elementary School works on a service project every year. This year, they agreed to help sort toys for the WDRB 'Tis Better to Give Toy Drive.

Through the generosity of our viewers, we've collected more than 500 toys at the station for children at the Home of the Innocents.

"This year we're helping to sort toys for the project and help out Snow Fox, and the girls are really excited to help children who are less fortunate than they are," said Kristina Richards with Girl Scout Troop 2263.

The toys will be delivered Friday morning.
