LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A boys basketball game at Silver Creek High School has been canceled after the school received a bomb threat, according to a spokesperson for the West Clark Community Schools system.

The high school received a bomb threat for Thursday, Dec. 15. According to the district, a person of interest has been identified, questioned and banned from all campuses.

The district says authorities plan to search the high school Wednesday night, using bomb-sniffing dogs. Additionally, there will be an increased police presence at Silver Creek High School on Thursday.

Also as a result of the threat, the high school's ninth-grade basketball game against Providence High School, scheduled for Wednesday night at 6 p.m., has been canceled.
