LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting at a Mexican restaurant in early December that left three people hospitalized.

According to an arrest warrant, 36-year-old Mariano Munoz-Bilchis is known to employees at the restaurant located at 2750 Seventh Street Road because he comes in on a regular basis. On Dec. 2, police say he got into an argument with an employee who said Munoz-Bilchis grabbed her inappropriately while she was working.

During the argument, police say he pulled out a gun and fired several shots at her, striking her in the right leg. Another woman in the restaurant was also hit in the left leg by one of the gunshots.

When a man tried to stop Munoz-Bilchis, police say he was shot several times, including in the left hand, left calf, right calf and left foot. Munoz-Bilchis then left the restaurant.

None of the victims' injuries were considered life-threatening.

Munoz-Bilchis was arrested on Dec. 14. He is charged with assault, wanton endangerment, and possession of methamphetamine.
