LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person is in the hospital in critical condition after a crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Hardin County early Friday.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. between Lebanon Junction and Elizabethtown near mile marker 96.

Officials with Kentucky State Police tell us the victim, who has not been identified was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

According to an official with the Hardin County Sheriff's office, several other people had to be cut out of another vehicle involved in the crash. 

All lanes of I-65 south had reopened by 2:30 p.m.
