LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man has been indicted for manslaughter in connection with a crash that killed two people last month.

The crash took place on the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 28, on Taylorsville Road near Bowman Field. At the time, police said a white Dodge Ram hit a green Chevy Cruze that witnesses said was trying to turn left onto Taylorsville Road.

The driver and passenger in the car were killed. Court documents identify them as Michael S. Eilen and Kenneth R. Hodges. 

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital and was expected to be okay.

According to court documents, Claude W. Blankenship, Jr. was indicted on Wednesday for two counts of second degree manslaughter and one count of speeding in connection with the crash. The indictment indicates that Blankenship was operating a motor vehicle in excess of 26 mph over the speed limit.
