LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The La Grange Police Department is looking for a man who tried to rob a woman in the parking lot of an east Louisville Wal-Mart.

According to a news release, it happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Friday, at the Wal-Mart in the 1000 block of New Moody Lane, near Hwy. 53. Police say a woman says that she was walking in the parking lot, when a tan-colored Ford Focus pulled up alongside of her.

At that point, police say, a man inside the van pointed a camouflaged-colored rifle at her, and demanded her money. When the woman refused to provide it, the suspect drove away.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, weighing 120-130 pounds, between the ages of 19 and 22, with blonde hair, a scruffy beard and a sweat shirt. The vehicle he was in is described as a tan-colored, early-to-mid-2000s Ford Focus.

Anyone with any information on this case is asked to call La Grange Police at (502) 225-0444, or the La Grange Police Tip Line at (502) 873-8945.
