LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An NBA legend is back in Louisville to see participants of his mentoring program graduate.

Allan Houston and Mayor Greg Fischer stopped by the Muhammad Ali Center to celebrate "little brothers" graduating from Houston's mentoring initiative Saturday.

It's a collaborative effort that was launched in February that provides positive role models for young men in the community.

Houston says, just like Muhammad Ali, these kids have their own legacies ahead of them.

"That word is what drives us, what motivates us and hearing and talking to the young men that have come through they actually know how they can leave a legacy now," Houston said.

Big Brothers and big sisters of Kentuckiana teamed up with the metro parks and recreation department and the mayor's office to watch nearly 30 of the participants graduate.
