LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- With all of the new bridges now open, and a restructuring of Spaghetti Junction now complete, Kentucky transportation officials have released a look back at the hopes and promises of what the project would bring.

"Spaghetti Junction has always been a little bit of a nightmare, really almost any time of day, depending on which direction you're headed," the video intones. "The driver will notice significantly reduced drive time. People will have twice the roadway, both north and southbound. You have options. You have the option of the East End and downtown."

The video, released by the Ohio River Bridges Project, takes a look at different stages of the three-year project, which actually includes 60 overpasses and bridges.

The project is expected to have an $87 billion impact on the region, and bring 15,000 new jobs over the next 30 years.
