LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Eight days after scoring 70 points in a loss at the KFC Yum! Center, Kentucky reached the 60-mark by halftime en route to a 99-76 rout of Ole Miss Thursday night in Oxford, Mississippi.
Isaiah Briscoe became the third Wildcat ever, and the second this season to record a triple-double. He got some help recording the final rebound after Derek Willis purposely missed a free throw to his side in the final minutes. Briscoe finished with 19 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
Bam Adebayo was a frequent recipient of Briscoe's lobs, finishing with a career-high 25 points. Malik Monk caught fire late in the first half and scored 24 of his game-high 34 points in the opening 20 minutes.
Kentucky (11-2, 1-0) has won eight in a row against Ole Miss (9-4, 0-1) and leads the all-time series 105-13. Next up for the Cats is a pair of conference home games, starting with Texas A&M January 3rd.
