UK football falls to Georgia Tech 33-18 in the Taxslayer Bowl

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Wildcats fall to Georgia Tech in the Taxslayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Georgia Tech built a 20-3 halftime lead on Kentucky and held off a UK rally to beat the Wildcats 33-18 in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville.

Running back Dedrick Mills led the Yellow Jackets offense with 169 yards rushing and a late touchdown to put the game out of reach.

Kentucky's offense was keyed by quarterback Stephen Johnson. He passed for 175 yards and a touchdown.

UK finishes the season with a 7-6 record.  Georgia Tech finishes 9-4.
