LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police say a man has been arrested after a body was discovered at a duplex in Paris, Kentucky.

According to a news release, representatives of both the Paris Police Department and Kentucky State Police were called to a home on High Street in Paris, Kentucky, Monday afternoon, after someone reported a strange odor.

When officers arrived, the property owner gave them permission to search the property, according to the news release.

Police say that, while searching the property, they found a body of a woman "in the crawl space area of the duplex." That's when officers obtained a search warrant.

On Tuesday, authorities identified the body as Tina Johnson, who was reported missing from Fayette County, Kentucky, on Dec. 3. No cause of death has been released.

Police say they have arrested 45-year-old Michael Hutsell in connection with the investigation. Hutsell is currently charged with tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse -- but more charges could be added, according to the news release.

He is currently being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center.
