LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Jefferson County court clerk has been arrested after police say she stole hundreds of dollars in fines and court costs she collected from night traffic court.

According to an arrest report, 26-year-old Tiffany Calhoun stole $468 on Tuesday, June 27, and $268 on Wednesday, June 28. Police say she also entered false information into the Kentucky courts computer system in order to cover up her theft.

Police say she was found with the stolen money after she got off work. She also allegedly had heroin in her possession.

She admitted to the incidents during a taped interview, according to police.

Calhoun was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, theft, possession of a controlled substance and official misconduct. She is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
