LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A day after winning the 50-meter Butterfly, U of L's Kelsi Worrell added the 100 meter Butterfly title Thursday at the USA National Swimming Championships in Indianapolis. Her winning time was 57.38.
Worrell's Louisville teammate Mallory Comerford, who won a national title Tuesday in the 100 meter Freestyle, finished third in the event.
"I am very proud as a coach with the energy and intensity we are showing as a team, and the results have been a reflection of that," said Cardinal coach Arthur Albiero. "Day 3 was another fantastic day for U of L Swimming."
Albiero's son Nick won the 18-and-under championship in the 100 meter Butterfly.
