LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky will not turn over voter data to the White House's election commission.

It's federal government is requesting personal information about every American voter, including names, addresses, birthdates, social security numbers, political affiliation and voting history.

The White House said it wants the information to prevent voting fraud.

Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said she will not turn that information over.

Grimes said voter fraud is not a widespread issue and calls the commission a waste of taxpayer money.
