LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Florida woman has been arrested after police say two small children ate candy laced with drugs.

Bobbi Johnson, 20, was arrested in Pasco County, Florida, according to a post made Friday on the Pasco County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

Police say the incident happened on June 17.

According to police, the two children, ages 3 and 5, ate gummy bears that were laced with marijuana. Officials say the candy was on a coffee table and within reach of both children, who were taken to area hospitals after eating the candy.

Police have not advised about the relationship between Johnson and the two children.

She is charged with two counts of child abuse.
