UPDATE : Boil water advisory issued in Henry County lifted
Officials say no contamination has been confirmed, but it is recommended that drinking water be boiled for at least two minutes at a rolling boil.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A boil water advisory that was issued Sunday for residents in Henry County after a water main break was lifted early Tuesday morning.
Keith Morris, chief operating officer of the Henry County Water District, said no contaminants were found and the water is safe for drinking
The advisory had been in effect for residents living in the areas of Pleasureville, Franklinton, Cropper, Bethlehem, Lockport and Defoe. The advisory also impacted residents living in the junction of Hwy 421 and Hwy 55 going south towards Pleasureville.
