LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Chef Paul Dowell from Kroger is helping make sure your 4th of July menus are complete! He demonstrates how to make a pasta salad perfect for 4th of July parties and gatherings.

Wild Wonders Pasta Salad

1-16 oz. pkg.

Private Selection Cavatappi Pasta (cooked & chilled)

1 lb.

Boar’s Head Chipotle Chicken Breast (sliced ¼” & diced)

1 pint

Roasted Corn Salad (from Kroger Deli Olive Bar)

1-5 oz. pkg.

Simple Truth Organic Baby Kale

1-12 oz. pkg.

Wild Wonders Tomatoes (sliced)

1 cup

Garden Jack’s Special Fresh Salsa (mild or medium)

1-16 oz. bottle

Kroger Lite Southwest Ranch

  • Cook pasta until just tender, drain & run under cold water to cool down.  Drain well & place in large mixing bowl.
  • Add chicken, corn salad, kale & tomatoes to the pasta.
  • Pour salsa & dressing over salad & toss together well.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.  Perfect side dish for you 4th of July party or anytime you need a little spice!
