A broken transformer caused lots of problems at Kentucky Kingdom Monday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A broken transformer caused lots of problems at Kentucky Kingdom Monday.
Park management says the transformer wasn't working correctly Monday morning, causing five of the rides in the water park to be closed.
Then at 6:45 p.m., the transformer stopped working completely, affecting three roller coasters and the Ferris wheel.
Park officials say the guests at the park were safely evacuated from the rides affected by the outage.
They say the problem should be fixed by Tuesday, and all rides should be open.
