North Carolina police take unusual approach to complaint about 4th of July celebration

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in North Carolina responding to a complaint from neighbors about a giant slip-n-slide in the street took quick action.

The giant slip-n-slide was set up at a 4th of July party. Some neighbors called police to complain that it was blocking too much of the road, but when officers showed up, they decided to join in the fun.

Police say they didn't issue any citations or warnings because traffic wasn't being blocked.
