LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 7-year-old Louisville boy shot and killed by a stray bullet in May was honored Saturday at Fern Creek High School.

Jamon Brown, former U of L Cardinal and current Los Angeles Ram, presented a custom Rams jersey to the family of Dequante Hobbs Jr.

Brown was in Louisville this weekend to launch free youth events to impact youth and bring awareness to crime prevention in Louisville.

Saturday, Brown held a youth football camp with former collegiate players and current NFL players with a focus on helping kids make the right choices when it comes to community awareness, accountability, prevention and awareness.
