Vatican bans gluten free Communion
There is one option for people with gluten sensitivities.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The Catholic Church is banning certain Holy Communion.
The Vatican says gluten free bread can not be used for the Eucharist during Mass.
The church says low gluten is okay.
Roman Catholics believe the bread and wine used during communion are turned into the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
There are more than a billion Roman Catholics in the world.
