LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  The 17-floor Hyatt Regency in downtown Louisville has a new owner.

A company connected to Pennsylvania-based Roch Capital bought the 393-room hotel for just shy of $50 million from an affiliate of Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels Corp., according to a deed filed with the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office. The sale occurred June 29.

Built in 1978, the hotel at 311 S. Fourth St. is one of the largest in downtown Louisville and is situated between 4th Street Live and the Kentucky International Convention Center.

Hyatt spent $14 million to upgrade the hotel’s rooms in 2015, according to Louisville Business First.
