Second southern Indiana church vandalized in 3 days

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Another southern Indiana church has been hit by vandals.

The Bartholomew County Sheriffs Department said Triumphant Baptist Church in Columbus was hit this time. The suspects broke windows and damaged exterior flood and security lights.

Officials believe this latest incident is connected to two others, including one on Saturday at the Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church, where windows were broken and several fires were set in the sanctuary and basement.

The sheriff said deputies are now doing extra patrols at county churches but believe the vandals aren't going to stop.

If you see anything suspicious, call police.
