LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officials around Kentucky are about to get a lesson in human trafficking.

Attorney General Andy Beshear's office is offering training to health care workers, law enforcement officials, first responders and civic leaders in western Kentucky after receiving requests.

The training begins July 24 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

There are also upcoming training opportunities for others, including Jefferson County Public Schools psychologists on Aug. 1 in Lexington.

Beshear's office says it's working 14 human trafficking cases, and has helped local law enforcement to resolve 96 other complaints.
