LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they do not expect to file any charges after a bicyclist was hit by a car and killed.

The wreck between a Chevy Camaro and a bicycle was reported around 2:00 Thursday morning at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Watterson Trail.

Investigators say the bicyclist was traveling on Watterson Trail crossing Bardstown Road and failed to yield the right of way.  The bicyclist died after being hit by the Camaro.

The LMPD Traffic Unit will continue to investigate but say they do not expect to file charges against the driver of the Camaro.
