LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Day two of the Forecastle Festival was another of the sun, heat and plenty of music.

As soon as gates opened, fans were back at Waterfront Park and in front of the stages for the annual music festival. It was another busy day of performers, which included Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and LCD Soundsystem.

Some people make the trip to Louisville an annual tradition, but for many, it's a new festival to check out.

"This is a special thing for me right no," said Sam Terwilleger, who took in the various acts Saturday. "In my younger days, I used to enjoy some festivals, but it's been a while. So we're coming down here today to kind of revisit the olden days and the golden days."

Sunday is the final day of the festival with performances from PJ Harvey, Sam Sneed, Spoon and Weezer.
