Several people hurt after crash in Nelson County
Emergency workers responded just before 11 p.m. Saturday to a reported accident in New Haven.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Six people were hurt in a crash that happened Saturday night in Nelson County.
According to a release from the Nelson County Sheriff's Office, emergency workers responded just before 11 p.m. to a reported accident in the 1400 block of Howardstown Road in New Haven.
When police and EMS arrived at the scene, deputies were led about two miles to a home in the 3100 block of Howardstown Road.
Officials say that close to a mile uphill on the property, officers found a pick-up that had gone down the side of a knob. Six people were located with various injuries, according to police.
Investigators say three people were taken to Norton Children's Hospital by helicopter. A 15-year-old girl was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital. A 10-year-old boy was taken to Flaget Hospital. An adult male was taken to U of L Hospital. The conditions of the victims are unknown.
The Nelson County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate the crash.
