The witness accounts of what caused the little girl to fly out of an SUV.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A shocking crash on Interstate 264 caused a child to be ejected from an SUV.
Louisville Metro Police say the single-vehicle crash happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday on the interstate near Bells Lane.
Witnesses told police an SUV was speeding, when the driver lost control and hit a concrete median, ejecting a young girl.
Amazingly, the child didn't appear to be seriously injured. The girl and two other juveniles were taken to Norton Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV was cited for failure to maintain a child restraint seat.
