Louisville woman accused of stabbing victim in the leg
An arrest report says the suspect and the victim became involved in a fight on Friday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a woman after officials say she stabbed a female victim in the leg.
Katrice Gill, 29, was arrested Friday in the 1500 block of Cedar Street, near South 15th Street.
An arrest report says that Gill and the victim became involved in a fight on Friday.
Authorities say the female victim stated that Gill was armed with a knife and stabbed her twice in the left leg during the fight.
According to police, a witness at the scene said he saw Gill stab the victim.
Officials say the knife was found in the middle of the street.
Gill is charged with second-degree assault.
