State police have released a composite sketch of a man considered the main suspect in the killings of two northern Indiana girls.
DELPHI, Ind. (WDRB) -- State police have released a composite sketch of a man considered the main suspect in the killings of two northern Indiana girls.
Sgt. Kim Riley says the sketch was created by an artist from information collected by all the agencies, including the FBI, involved in the double-murder investigation.
The person depicted in the composite sketch is described as a white male between 5’6” to 5’10”, weighing 180 to 220 pounds, with reddish brown hair, eye color unknown. This sketch depicts a hat that may not be accurate.
Police are asking that people take particular note of the person’s facial features.
The composite drawing is the result of information received during the course of this ongoing investigation.
Fourteen-year-old Liberty German vanished with 13-year-old Abigail Williams on Feb. 13 while hiking a trail near their hometown of Delphi, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Their bodies were found the next day in nearby woods.
Investigators released two grainy images in late February of a man they consider the main suspect in the killings. They also released audio of a male saying "down the hill."
A reward in excess of $230,000 is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these murders.
Anyone with information about the murders or the person depicted in the composite sketch should call the established tip line at 844-459-5786 and can remain anonymous.
