Maggie Keith is a fourth-generation farmer and a new mom. Tending to her family, hundreds of animals and more than a thousand acres doesn’t leave much time for the grocery store.

“Everyone is busy, everyone has schedules, and it's hard to sometimes get local food,” Keith said. “You want to support the local farmers, but it's hard to do it.  I've been looking for more convenient ways of shopping.”

That's how the idea for Foxhollow Delivery grew.

Keith wanted to make it more convenient for busy people to eat healthy grass-fed beef and support local farmers. There are two different types of boxes to choose from. They're hand-delivered once a month to your door in a cooler with a recipe. One option is the Crew Box.

“This is our sampler kind of box,” said Sarah Stewart, Vice President of Beef Sales and Marketing at Foxhollow Farm. “You get some ground beef, some premium steaks, some more marinating type steaks, and then you'll always get a braising item. Everything is prepackaged, vacuumed sealed, labeled, and it has the name of the cut and the weight.”

The other option is called the Crowd Box.

“It's predominately ground beef and hot dogs, something you would feed a party or a cook out or grill out, or make a big pot of chili and watch a game or anything like that,” Keith said.

While those are the only two options on the website right now, Keith said she's willing to adapt the orders based on feedback and what customers are craving at their dinner tables. She might also expand into jerky and other snacks in the future.
