CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The body of a Nelson County man has been recovered from a lake in Taylor County.

Coroner Daniel Cook says dive teams pulled the body of 18-year-old Tariq Armour of Cox's Creek from the Green River Lake at Green River State Park about 11:45 a.m. on Monday.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officials says they were called to the lake on Sunday afternoon, after witnesses reported seeing a man go under water and not resurface.

An autopsy is scheduled in Louisville on Tuesday to determine the cause of death. But Cook says it is likely Armour drowned.
