Jeffersontown looking to fill vacant city council seat

JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. (WDRB) - There is a new position available on the Jeffersontown City Council.

Councilwoman Kristina Dreisbach submitted her resignation on July 11, 2017. She said she will no longer be living within the city limits. She and her husband moved out of the county to be closer to his job in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Applications are now being accepted to fill Dreisbach's seat. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in Jeffersontown.
