LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Changes are coming to the home of Kentucky basketball.

Plans were released Thursday to redesign and expand the convention center that houses Rupp Arena. Changes to the arena would include replacing some of the benches with chair-backed seats. That could mean fewer seats, but officials say the number hasn't been determined.

Four new hospitality suites will also be added to Rupp Arena.

The cost of the redesign for the convention center will be about $265 million.

Construction is set to start in January.
