Man accused of stabbing landlord pleads not guilty to assault

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man accused of stabbing his landlord several times agrees to have no contact with the victim.

Police say 58-year-old Kenneth Embry attacked his landlord Saturday. The landlord was on her way to investigate a complaint about the air conditioning.

Embry allegedly knocked her to the ground and stabbed her multiple times in the face and body. It happened on Atwood Street near Crittenden Drive in the Saint Joseph Neighborhood.

No word on the woman's condition.

Embry pleaded not guilty to assault.
